Abstract
Dominiak and Wysocki (2023), henceforth (DW), offer a critique of the views on punishment and self-defense of Rothbard, Kinsella, and Block. DW maintain that not only should the punishment fit the crime, but that proportionality should also be applied to self-defense. The present paper is a critique of the DW thesis and constitutes support for the views of Rothbard, Kinsella, and Block.
