Abstract

Celem artykułu jest systematyczny namysł nad przemocą pisma, inspirowany przez uwagi J. Derridy zawarte w jego "Gramatologii". Tematem artykułu nie jest jednak filozofia J. Derridy. Artykuł rozwija temat przemocy pisma, wychodząc najpierw od fenomenologicznej refleksji nad tym, czym jest on sam w kontekście kulturowych warunków, jakie musi spełnić, by mógł w ogóle zaistnieć jako wytwór naukowy, tzn. zostać opublikowany. W następnym kroku pyta się o filozoficzny sens i zasadność tychże warunków, odwołując się do historii kultury europejskiej i pojęcia humanizmu. W ostatnim kroku przedmiotem analiz jest ontologia pisma i metafizyka obecności, która w filozofii XX wieku została z wielu stron oskarżona o uprawomocnienie przemocy. Czy jest to związane z tym, że metafizyka służy władzy Pisma? Na czym polega przemoc Pisma? W podsumowaniu pojawia się pytanie o możliwość innego uprawiania filozofii niż tylko filozofia pisana.
