Abstrakt
The school of poetry analysis
The school of poetry analysis is a monograph for primary and secondary school students and Polish language teachers interested in broadening their knowledge of poetics and improving their poem interpretation skills. A wide readership has determined the structure and scope of the publication: pupils of the senior years of primary school, students of various types of secondary schools, secondary school graduates, participants of school board competitions and the of Olympiad Polish Literature and Language and Language competition and their teachers will find chapters adapted to each level of Polish language education. Each chapter has a similar structure: a biography of the author, his/her poetic output’s place in the literary context of the period, poem interpretation, and a bibliography with reading guidelines for further independent study. The monograph takes into account the works of writers included both, in the so-called core curriculum and outside the school canon.
