Motywy polskich inwestycji bezpośrednich – przykład przedsiębiorstw z województwa łódzkiego

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja motywów polskich inwestycji bezpośrednich na przykładzie przedsiębiorstw z województwa łódzkiego. Wykorzystując dane z kwestionariusza ankiety, która została przeprowadzona w latach 2012–2014, pokazano, że tradycyjne motywy rynkowe są najważniejsze przy podejmowaniu decyzji o dokonywaniu zagranicznych inwestycji bezpośrednich przez firmy z regionu. Znacznie mniej istotne są motywy kosztowe i zasobowe, a najmniej ważne są motywy administracyjno-prawne (polityczne) i motyw ryzyka. Można to wytłumaczyć specyfiką działania przedsiębiorstw i stopniowym angażowaniem w proces internacjonalizacji. Jest on zazwyczaj poprzedzony osiągnięciem sukcesu na rynku krajowym i zaczyna się od działalności eksportowej. Dopiero z chwilą akumulacji zasobów firmy decydują się na inwestycje na dobrze znanych i bliskich geograficznie rynkach zagranicznych.
