The publication was created as part of a scientific project funded by the National Science Center in the OPUS 4 competition entitled Monography and bibliography of the contents of the journal "Ster" (1895-1897; 1907-1914), edited by Paulina Kuczalska-Reinschmit DEC-2012/07/B/HS2/00335

„Rudder. The organ of women’s suffrage”, edited by Paulina Kuczalska-Reinschmit and Józefa Bojanowska. Warsaw 1907–1914 (with anthology and bibliography of contents)
The monograph is a continuation and complement to the book entitled ‘The Rudder’, edited by Paulina Kuczalska-Reinschmit. Lvov 1895–1897 (with an anthology and bibliography of contents) [Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu Szczecińskiego, Szczecin 2017].
Part one is a description of: the state of research on the ‘The Rudder. The organ of women’s suffrage’ [„Ster. Organ równouprawnienia kobiet”], the political situation in the Polish lands under the Russian partition after the revolution of 1905–1907, and the programme of the Union of Polish Women’s Equal Rights [Związek Równouprawnienia Kobiet Polskich] (1907–1921) and the periodical ‘The Rudder’ [„Ster”] (1909–1914) – led by leaders of Polish suffragettes: Paulina Kuczalska- -Reinschmit (1859–1921) and Józefa Bojanowska (1873–1945).
Part two is an anthology of the most interesting – from the point of view of contemporary readers – texts published in the pages of ‘The Rudder’: articles, polemics, reviews, letters, fiction.
The third part is a bibliography of ‘The Rudder’ content.
