„The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies” ISSN 1230-0780, e-ISSN 2719-4337 is a periodical of the University of Szczecin, the Faculty of Theology. It is a yearbook and it is edited since 1992 by the Diocesan Theological Seminary in Koszalin, and since 2015, he has been a co-publisher with the University of Szczecin. The published articles are mostly theological ones. Moreover, there are some of humanistic fields such as history, philosophy, psychology or social science. Fr. Zdzisław Kroplewski (1992–1999), Fr. Zygmunt Czaja (2000–2003), Fr. Edward Sienkiewicz (2003–2014), Fr. Janusz Bujak (2014-2022) were the editors of the journal. Since 2022 Fr. Radosław Mazur has been the editor-in-chief.
The yearbook is on the list of point journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (the point journals listing 2024) – 40 points. The journal „The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies” is available in both paper and electronic form, with the electronic version being the original. The aim of the journal is to promote the theological thoughts in the diocese and its scholastic achievements all around Poland.
The periodical of „The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies” is archived by the Polish National Library and its publishing policy is deposited in Sherpa/Romeo. Some articles are published in English and, less frequently, in Italian or German. This allows for the international dissemination of research conducted at Polish research centres and creates opportunities for promoting the research of foreign authors in the Polish academic community.

Thanks to funding from the State Budget under the programme "Development of scientific journals" and contract RCN/SP/0310/2021/1 2022-2024, articles from the latest issue of "Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies" 2023 no. 30, "Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies" 2023 Anniversary issue and "Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies" 2024 no. 31 have been translated into English.

The publication activities of the scientific journal "The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies" are financed by the University of Szczecin. No fees are charged for publication. Authors of texts published in the journal receive one free printed copy of the issue in which their article appeared. All articles published in the scientific journal "The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies" are available free of charge and without any technological barriers in an online version on the journal's website, administered by the Scientific Publishing House of the University of Szczecin.
The scientific journal "The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies" does not use any advertising media, and all forms of direct marketing are properly targeted, unobtrusive and focused primarily on disseminating the scientific content published in the journal.
Full versions of articles published in the journal are available at wnus.edu.pl without a grace period or without any technological barriers.
The articles are published under the CC-BY-SA license, and the editorial board of the journal does not charge for the publication of the publication (APC).
“The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies” is an open access journal. This means that all content is freely available to users or their institutions. The journal uses digital object identifiers (DOI) and unique identifiers for researchers (ORCID – Open Researcher and Contributor ID) who are authors of scientific articles published in the journal.
The editorial board of the journal “The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg Studies” supports and implements the Open Access principles applicable at the University of Szczecin and the Scientific Publishing House of the University of Szczecin, in particular the ideas of Open Science in publishing, which guarantees an open model of publishing distribution of content, as well as a fully open publishing policy (https://otwartanauka.usz.edu.pl/publikacje-w-open-access/).
