Abstract

Amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure, that occured in the years 2016-2023, did not bypass coercive measures. First of all they concerned preventive measures and tapping, therefore forms of using of coercion, which are an example of significant interference into the sphere of human rights. The aim of the paper was presentation of main trends, which charakterized amendments mentioned above. However, numerous amendments caused grave doubts. They constituted a regression in the aspect of human rights, allowing chaos during applying regulations and violation of the process balance too. Consequently, they meant the use of repression in connection with the applying of coercive measures and limiting democratic elements in criminal proceedings.
