Abstract

The article presents an assessment of the development of the electronic economy in Poland on the background of the European Union. Statistical data analysis of the basic characteris­tics of the development of e-economy and the determinants that affect the ranking of countries in the global index NRI was performed. At the same time the impact and importance of e-economy in the contemporary socio-economic countries was shown.
