Abstract

Scientific literature presents different approaches to the problem of economy sharing. The available definitions of this issue in a significant part refer to its interpretation in relation to the consumption model, especially in terms of innovative technology platforms. At the same time, in the author’s opinion, this term can be considered in the aspect of cooperation of enterprises, as a way to optimise the benefits and scale, but also to lower the level of risk. A model example of the sharing economy in B2B terms is cluster organisations, and therefore regional associations of enterprises operating in the same or related sectors, with the participation of, for example, scientific, financial or administrative institutions. Cluster structures, mechanisms of their functioning and business models of operations are focused on achieving their basic goal, which is to increase the competitiveness of entities belonging to them. This applies to both domestic operations and internationalisation processes. Moreover. it is the very process of internationalisation that can contribute to increased competitiveness on the domestic market, due to, among others, the need to adapt to higher quality requirements applicable on foreign markets and thus transfer them to the Polish market. These specific conditions make it possible to properly prepare enterprises for internationalisation and to build a partnership network around it for sharing resources, which can contribute to maximising the profits and optimising the costs of the business sector. The article will deal with aspects of the practical application of the sharing economy model for the internationalisation of entities centred around cluster.
