Abstract

The article dealing with the issue of the linguistic image of the feelings and emotions of a child in selected works by Janusz Korczak is only a sketch introducing this thread of Korczak's story, which will allow us to look at various ways of conceptualizing this issue from a more extensive, historical, but still valid, perspective of discourse on the child and about the child. It seems that many aspects require further development and elaboration in further more detailed research. For the analysis, I chose the names of feelings and the attributes associated with them, as well as emotive means used to describe feelings and emotions, in which emotionality is almost obligatorily inscribed in the text, and the description not only presents the object, but also the reaction to emotions, evoking the context of this emotionality.
