Abstract

By decision of February 29, 2024, the European Commission confirmed Poland's participation in enhanced cooperation in the European Public Prosecutor's Office. For Poland, this decision entailed the need to adopt institutional and organizational solutions adequate for this cooperation. The article presents the analysis of changes to the Act on the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Code of Criminal Procedure, aimed at adapting national regulations to the requirements arising from Poland's participation in enhanced cooperation within the European Public Prosecutor's Office. The author attempts to evaluate the most important aspects of the amendments from the perspective of the coherence of the adopted solutions and their compliance with the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) 2017/1939 of 12/10/2017 implementing enhanced cooperation on the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office.
