Reviewing Rules
1) All articles published in the biannual journal ‘Acta Politica Polonica’ are subject to review.
(2) The article is reviewed by two independent reviewers from different research centres.
The authors of the articles and reviewers do not know each other's identity (double-blind review process).
The editors choose reviewers with particular emphasis on the absence of a conflict of interest, i.e., the absence of a personal relationship with the author (kinship, legal ties, and conflict), a relationship of professional dependence or direct scientific cooperation during the two years prior to the preparation of the review.
The review shall be in writing and its conclusion shall express one of the following decisions: a. the article is suitable for publication in the version presented by the author;
b. the article is suitable for publication after taking into account the comments of the reviewers; or
c. the article is not suitable for publication.
After obtaining positive reviews (including revisions suggested by the reviewers), the final decision to approve the article for publication is made by ‘Acta Politica Polonica’ editors.
