Abstract
The article presents the three main types of relations between psychoanalysis and autobiography.
Psychoanalysis is defined as an autobiographical practice that has become a science. Autobiography also provides its most important therapeutic technique. Moreover, in the light of Freud’s theory, any given autobiography can be understood in terms of screen memories.
