Abstrakt

Tekst stanowi próbę lektury autobiografii żydowskiego filozofa Emila L. Fackenheima (1916–2003), urodzonego w Halle wygnańca do Toronto, który pod koniec życia osiadł w Jerozolimie, wytrawnego czytelnika Hegla. Fackenheim właśnie do Hegla kieruje pytania o znaczenie XX wieku, szukając u niego jeśli nie odpowiedzi, to wskazówek. Dialektykę konfrontuje on z rzeczywistością, którą nazywa planetą Oświęcim.
