Biografemy w popkulturowych biofikcjach literackich: przypadek Edgara Allana Poego

Abstrakt

Niniejszy artykuł omawia pokrótce praktykę narracyjną zwaną biofikcją, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem biofikcji popkulturowej i jej specyficznego wcielenia, jakim jest biofikcja literacka, dokonująca fikcjonalizacji znanego pisarza lub pisarki. Po zdefiniowaniu biofikcji jako takiej omawiam rolę elementów referencyjnych, które nazywam biografemami – rozumianymi tutaj jako biograficzne memy – oraz wyodrębniam biografemy literackie pełniące specyficzne funkcje w popkulturowej biofikcji literackiej. Wszystkie wymienione cechy biofikcji sytuują ją jako praktykę postautentyczną i typową dla współczesnej kultury remiksu. W końcowej części artykułu przedstawiam przykłady biofikcji dotyczących Edgara Allana Poego, wskazując na emblematyzację głównego bohatera i metafikcyjną naturę biofikcji.
