Abstract

The RAPEX is used to the rapid exchange of information between Member States of the European Union and the European Commission on products causing risk to the consumer and measures taken against them. The largest share in the RAPEX notifications have products originating from China despite making by the European Commission cooperation with the Chinese authorities to reduce this number. The forecast based on the multiple regression model, taking into account the time, the introduction of the RAPEX-China, and the value of import from China, showed that the number of those notifications in 2015 will rise again.
