Abstrakt
The article includes an assessment of the innovation sectors of the Polish economy – industry and services, both in terms of their ability to create innovation and effects of the innovative activity. The analysis has an empirical character and based on the results of two recent edition of the survey CIS (Community Innovation Survey) carried out in three-year cycles in EU countries. The results obtained allow us to formulate some proposals to potential directions of development of the Polish economy in the coming years.
