Abstrakt
Purpose: The main aim of this article is to present some possibilities which artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent management (IM) can give to companies in achieving strategic objectives by enhancing decision-making and organizational performance.
Need for the study: AI offers new capabilities in data collection, interpretation, and analysis, supporting comprehensive management in areas such as strategic planning, human resources management or performance evaluation. Effective performance management relies heavily on data processing, making AI and IM valuable tools in this domain.
Methodology: The main methodology used for this article is the literature review as well as deduction and induction methods and interview conducted with the owners of an electrical company.
Findings: When used effectively, artificial intelligence and intelligent management can be a great support for performance management and in achieving the strategic goals (company goals as well as employees personal goas). They can also fasten preparing some documents, create reports or even writing simple computer programs which can help in gathering some important information.
Practical Implications: Evolution of the artificial intelligence was from long time expected. Since it is improving and gives more option, its usefulness for company managers is increasing. However, their cannot forgot, that this technology is still not sufficient, can give some false, incomplete or mistaken information, what can lead to wrong decisions or create opportunities for data theft by unauthorized individuals. Finding the possibilities of using AI and IM in performance management is important and probably soon will be required by business environment.
