Abstract
The article presents the concept of dissipative structures together with the description of their behaviour principles in comparison to classic equilibrium structures. The mechanism of dissipation in economic structures has been presented, in particular in the structures of public transport. The article presents actual functioning mechanisms in the structures of public transport management structures in the view of their stability and possible tendency to dissolve. There are three case studies presented showing the tendency to dissipate in those structures, in particular the ineffective competition, the specific economic and legal independence and the steering of effectiveness.
