Abstract

The article attempts to analyze IT solutions market available for companies as a service in the “cloud”. The term of “cloud computing” was identified and the characteristics of “cloud” solutions for selected systems applications in logistics were presented. Additionally, the forecasts of the development of the “cloud” services applicability for the future were indicated.
