Abstract

For Karpowicz's writing, the composition of Legendy pomorskie (‘Legends of Pomerania’) was an episodic act, but for the trend of folk tales in (Western) Pomerania, the publication turned out to be one of those book items that set basic standards for the formulation of this type of content in this early period; these standards persisted until 1989 and are still evident today.
