Abstract
The study presents the issue of taking an employment by students of the University of Economics in Cracow. Information was collected on basis of auditorium survey. There were collected and analyzed information on job search by students during the study, methods of searching job and the main barriers to finding a job. There were gathered information on the current earnings of students, the type of work and type of employment contract. Respondents were asked about their level of skills and the role of universities in the job search process.
