Abstract
This article deals with the important topic of mergers and acquisitions of commercial banks. Undertaking this problem is a challenge due to the dynamics of changes taking place in the banking sector. In addition, this is a topic for every person who is or will be a customer of the bank. The article is a discussion of consolidation processes, with particular focus on mergers and acquisitions. The article presents the motives of buyers and sellers, which they make during making decisions about transactions. The article identifies the next stages of the company acquisition process
