Abstract
In the paper was presented the notion of Responsive Web Design (RWD) technique in the context of its utilization in the designing of web pages and www services of public universities.
In the first part of the article the notion and the need of RWD application was briefly characterized. In the further part the attention was paid on most essential statistical data concerning futures of mobile devices application and its influence on RWD. The last part of the article is an analysis of the utilization of RWD in public universities.
