Mezzanine capital jako instrument służący restrukturyzacji przedsiębiorstw – studium przypadku

Purpose – The article raises issues like definitions and types of restructuring process and it is focused on how the restructuring in company should be made. What is more that article is about using instrument like mezzanine capital leads to effective restructuring in business unit. Methodology – In research is used case study in which is analyzed firm after successful restructuring process. The restructuring was carried out using hybrid financing in leverage buyout transaction which lead firm to better compete position. In that scientific research, finance indicators and qualitative methods was applied. Ratio analysis before and after restructuring are calculated. What is more an interview with chairman of the supervisory board was conducted. Findings – On that background indicates effects of restructuring and draw conclusions. Originality/value – Number of studies about mezzanine capital, especially restructuring using hybrid financial instruments are available but in a limited extent.
