Abstract

Tourism, particularly the foreign one, it’s the industry that is fraught with risk. The biggest problem faced by travel agents is the volatility of the exchange rates and the classic market risk. Also it is compulsory to take into account risks from the geopolitical situation, strikes, riots, disasters. Weave effect of many factors affecting negatively the sales volume and specificity of settlements of travel agents, makes many of them to finance closed season by advances from customers booking holidays for the next one.
