Abstract
In the last decade (2005–2015) Polish Enterpreneurs Foundation has ensured complementary ecosystem of supporting entrepreneurs through implementation of financial engineering instruments (loans, guarantees, seed capital and business angels investments) in Poland. Business Support Organisations, such as Polish Enterpreneurs Foundtaion, will play an increasing role in building balanced and innovative economy. Best practices in financial engineering instruments may boost the market development. It is crucial to implement proper actions in regional, national and European programmes in 2014–2020 perspective, which should increase the level of innovation, and in result competitiveness of SMEs on global market. All efforts should be made to secure an efficient ecosystem of financing of Polish companies, especially the startups and those investing in R&D, and not to lose previous achievements in Poland.
