Abstract
This article touches the issues regarding the area of quality of academic education. The main focus of interest are the internal systems of quality assurance. These systems are already (widely occurring and legally grounded) permanent part of the functioning and organization of Polish universities, but yet they still are in need of specifying its meaning.
