Abstract

The subject of the paper is an attempt to determine the underlying relationships and trends in the fi eld of working time (regulated by law and actually worked) in Poland and other EU member states (over the period 2004–2015). Particular attention was given to the assessment of statistical data on average hours actually worked per person in employment.The figures are broken down by various demographic and occupational characteristics (sex, professional status, full-time work, part-time work etc.).
