Abstract

The dynamic development of Internet technologies and the progressive computerization of so¬ciety have their direct consequences also in the field of taxation. Clear example illustrating this process is, in particular, the growing popularity of the possibility of submitting tax returns elec¬tronically. In the first year of operation of the e-Declaration of taxpayers filed only 390 returns electronically, while in 2016 this figure exceeded 62 million. The subject of this article is to characterize the digital administration on Polish territory in the context of the development and analysis of e-declaration. The article will be used research methods, involving the analysis of available statistical data and literature.
