Abstract

The objective of this article is to examine the changes in the employment of women in Europe in years 2002–2014. It was undertaken to verify the hypothesis about the significant decrease of women’s economic activity in the studied period. Statistical methods of structural and dynamics analysis have been used. The analysis of employment has been performer by age, level of education, sections and sectors of the economy. The research based on Eurostat data. The main hypothesis about significant decrease of women employment in EU countries has been rejected.
