Abstract

Corporate venture capitals are undoubtedly one of the most effective ways to increase business innovation and the economy. Paradoxically, despite the pressure of the government to stimulate innovation, the CVC has not been used in Poland. For this reason, despite the richness of foreign literature, the concept of corporate venture capital has not been present in the Polish literature. The authors of present paper, synthesize the concept of CVC and formulate their own definition. In addition, the paper presents the classical CVC typology and authors own typology.
